TOUR ITINERARY
DAY ONE
Buena Vista → Marble
Seat Time: 4 - 4.5 hours
Our ride departs from Buena Vista, CO and instantly delivers you to winding smooth asphalt, summiting over Cottonwood Pass. After arriving in Taylor Park, the route turns quickly to dirt, passing through quaint mountain towns. We will stop for lunch in the beautiful ski town of Crested Butte before the next part of our journey over Kebler Pass.
Our evening destination of Marble, CO greets us with a BBQ dinner and a warm welcome at a family owned Bed & Breakfast.
DAY TWO
Marble → Aspen
Seat Time: 4 - 4.5 hours
Ride past the intriguing site of Colorado Stone Quarries’ marble mine (where the white stone for the Lincoln Memorial was mined). Nearby hiking trails will reward you with breathtaking scenery and waterfalls. Or check out our favorite attraction, the Crystal Mill! This is one of the most photographed spots in Colorado (be sure to bring your camera!). The Crystal Mill can be viewed by hiking or riding up a rocky trail. For the most adventurous riders, there is also the opportunity to ride a challenging dirt enduro loop before returning to our course.
After departing Marble, we will stop for lunch in Redstone. We will then enjoy a scenic route along the Crystal & Roaring Fork Rivers, spotted by mountain towns, until we arrive at our upscale accommodations in Aspen, CO.
DAY THREE
Aspen → Buena Vista
Seat Time: 4 - 4.5 hours
Day three allows for free time in the morning to check out Aspen’s bustling downtown. After we depart, our ride brings us over spectacular Independence Pass into the historic town of Leadville, where we pause for lunch before completing our loop back to Buena Vista (paved and dirt route options).
Upon our return in Buena Vista, you may decide to take advantage of the many activities and recreation nearby: fly-fishing, white-water rafting, kayaking, a technical enduro dirt bike ride, hot springs and spa, hiking, great shopping and dining… the possibilities are endless! Ask us for local tips and recommendations.
